SUMMER 2010 at United!
What a blessing summer will be for God's people! Those rays of sunshine warm our hearts and our spirits and we just feel like shouting ALLELUIA! Summer is a time of rest and a time of exploration. SO we ask God's tender mercies on all who travel and all who wait at home for your safe return! Planned this summer are the following activities: AUGUST 15 WORSHIP AT THE BEACH and CHURCH PICNIC at Pastor Jan's at Beachcrest in Lacey. We had a very inspirational time last summer praising God as we looked over the waters of Puget Sound. SO let's do it again. Plan on bringing potluck items and the BBQ meat will be provided! Hey, a time to CAR POOL too! Meet in Church Parkinglot at 10am!

For example, every Wednesday, Our Father's Kitchen Food Bank continues to feed those who need it in our neighborhood. We have tried to keep our foodbank open even though number of clients are seriously up! DONATIONS ALWAYS WELCOME! We have a growing Sunday School! Additionally, we host Brownies, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, AA, AlAnon, and community athletic activities in our gym. We are proud to announce that the Tacoma Table Tennis Club meets in our gymnasium on Thursday evenings. We are also the home of Vine of Life Samoan Congregation, and the Southside Seventh Day Adventists. Our reach extends further
through active support of Lutheran World Relief with countless quilts and
